Your tasks
- Understanding and analyzing business requirements, defining and designing appropriate functional solutions;
- Technical and functional solution design and implementing new functions, modules, or interfaces of applications;
- Consulting business as well as IT experts on functional concepts of the application and on business process or workflow optimization. Additionally, developing and communicating solutions and concepts within teams involved.
- Defining functional test scenarios as well as quality assurance measures;
- In case of incidents or issues, analyzing and designing solutions to the problems in close collaboration with other involved teams;
- Being one of the experts within your scrum team for all aspects of functional and business analysis aspects for the new MCP applications (design, build and run);
- Working in an Agile team setup.
Your profile
- Understanding and analyzing business requirements (actual/target). Gathering and documentation of business requirements and design / development of functional solution / function IT concept.
- Being able to understand and advise business as well as IT regarding best technical / functional solution or set-up of the application;
- Experience with APIs;
- Strong interest in different AI topics and tools;
- Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking as well as structured and methodical work;
- Very good knowledge of spoken and written English. German knowledge would be considered as an advantage;
- University degree in IT or relevant.

Business Connectivity Cluster accelerates the transformation of Commerzbank into a digital technology company by developing and promoting internal and external APIs that are an integral part of our digital infrastructure. Positioning of Commerzbank in the German market as the first port of call for simple and innovative API-based customer solutions. In addition to that our cluster has spread across multiple techonlogies including Kafka, MQ, MFT.
