To accelerate our growth in Technical Communication and Data Solutions, we are looking for a results-driven Senior Manager Strategic Sales (m/w/d) to drive new customer acquisition and expand strategic partnerships with global industrial companies. The preferred location will be in Germany.
In this role you will:
- Acquire new large-scale INFO customers in key industries such as automotive, aerospace & defense, energy, manufacturing, and material handling
- Lead the complete sales cycle from qualification and workshops to business case, proposal, negotiation, and closure
- Position Etteplan INFO as the preferred partner for structured, efficient, and AI‑supported technical information
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline with accurate forecasting and drive growth through value‑based selling
- Identify and manage outsourcing or business transfer opportunities, guiding customers through their transformation
- Ensure smooth internal alignment, seamless handover to delivery teams, and long‑term customer satisfaction
- Address high‑value customer challenges and advise on documentation, information management, CCMS/DITA, spare parts data, and industrial AI
- Willingness to travel within Europe to Etteplan sites and customer locations
Your Profile
- 5+ years of B2B solution sales experience, ideally in managed services, outsourcing, information management, digital transformation, or industrial services, with a proven track record of closing large enterprise deals
- Strong conceptual understanding of technical documentation, structured content, metadata, taxonomy, CCMS, or related technologies - or a strong willingness to learn
- Experience engaging with operations, engineering, service/aftermarket, and IT stakeholders
- Excellent consultative selling, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical and business value
- High business acumen, able to challenge customer assumptions and sell AI‑enhanced services and long-term managed service contracts
- Fluent in English & fluent in German; additional languages are advantageous
- Entrepreneurial, proactive, and self-driven, with the ability to build strong relationships up to C‑level
- Structured and analytical mindset, capable of energizing teams and working effectively across functions in an international matrix environment
