General information
The Chair of Entrepreneurship and Creativity is seeking a highly organized and motivated Personal Assistant (f/m/d) to support a small academic team and to independently manage a wide range of administrative and coordination tasks. This position offers a diverse role at a leading business school and provides valuable insights into academic teaching, research, and institutional projects.
This Part-time position (20 hours/week) is initially a one-year fixed-term contract with the potential to become extended or permanent.
Your mission
In addition to standard administrative and assistant duties, your responsibilities will include:
- Organization and support of courses, including the preparation, maintenance, and design of Moodle course pages
- Grade administration, including the entry and management of exam results
- Proofreading of documents (e.g. presentations, reports, correspondence) with a focus on accuracy and consistency
- Coordination of the Chair’s team, including planning joint activities, organizing internal events, and fostering team cohesion in a partly remote working environment
- Travel management for conferences and business trips, including travel expense reimbursement
- Cost control of the Chair, including monitoring the budget, tracking expenses, and planning the use of funds
- Support in organizing and managing the Master in Entrepreneurship, particularly with regard to social events and program-related activities
- Support in the establishment and administration of a new Center for Entrepreneurship
Your profile
- Very good command of English, both written and spoken
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word and Excel, as well as the ability to manage and structure Moodle course pages
- Basic financial knowledge to support budgeting processes and expense management at Chair level
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coordinate and support a small team effectively
