Our business partner, a German based international player, is an independent payment service provider that offers a wide range of payment processing services, international merchant accounts and IPSP accounts. The company provides online and mobile payment solutions through its own international banking network, and its own connected alternative payment solutions.
A new development team is currently being established in Thessaloniki. It has both the mindset & originality of an exciting start up, with lean/agile practices, a flat hierarchy, but with the stability & security of being a world-famous organization as well.
For the new office in Thessaloniki (Greece) we are currently looking for a:
Mid-level Software Engineer (m/w/d) FinTech
For full-time and permanent employment
Onsite in Thessaloniki, hybrid or fully remote
You enjoy laying the foundations for how engineering is practiced within the company. In order to design and deliver excellent product quality, you collaborate with cross functional and cross international development teams, as well as with team leads and architects. You will work closely with front-end developers to deliver consistent and reliable app experiences. Your primary goal is to improve usability for the customers.
Your responsibilities
​

• Implement the backend of the application and ensure that the software functionality matches the product requirements.
• Develop and document comprehensive application logic and API endpoints.
• Handle function-testing and maintain a good quality code.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation (user guide, release log, etc.)
• Follow agile principles.

Your profile

​​

• Bachelor’s degree (higher education in the field of Information technology desirable)
• Previous experience as a Backend developer or similar role
• Technical background and good understanding of Software development life cycle (SDLC)
• 2+ years’ experience with MSSQL, C#, .NET Core
• Experience with AWS, Docker containers, Microservices, Elasticsearch, Git
• Good knowledge of English
• Strategic mindset that results in new ideas that drives the business forward.
• Team player with great problem-solving and good organizational skills
