We are seeking an experienced IT system and network administrator with a focus on managing IT infrastructures to join our nine-person Office IT team, which is part of our Tech Unit. In this role, you will ensure the smooth operation and continuous development of our server, network and email infrastructure, with a focus on stability, security and automation.
Your Key Responsibilities as an IT System & Network Administrator (f/m/d):
- Administration of our IT infrastructure, including the provisioning and maintenance of Windows servers that host various services and applications, as well as managing identity and access through Active Directory and Entra ID
- Responsible for the operation and optimization of our e-mail infrastructure based on Exchange Online and third-party security solutions to protect against all types of e-mail related threats
- Play an active role in shaping the existing and future network architecture, performing operational tasks on firewalls, switches, and Wi-Fi components, while monitoring network performance and availability to ensure reliable operation
- Self-dependent analysis and solution-oriented troubleshooting of 2nd & 3rd level issues related to our IT infrastructure

Your profile
- Successfully completed apprenticeship in the IT sector (or an equivalent qualification), ideally with several years of in-depth experience in managing IT infrastructures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of current Windows infrastructures, as well as modern mail and network technologies, including AD, Entra ID, Exchange Online, DNS, DHCP, SMTP, routing, switching, NGFW and VPN solutions.
- Experienced in in scripting and automation with PowerShell or any other language. Additional experience working with REST APIs is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills, an analytical and pragmatic approach to work and willingness to work in a collaborative environment.
- Very good German language skills (C1) are a must, in combination with at least intermediate English language skills (B2).
