Field Account Manager
Aufgabe
Gant Footwear is entering an exciting growth phase as we continue to establish and expand our standalone footwear business across Europe. We are building strong commercial foundations, deepening our presence in key markets, and shaping a modern wholesale organization from the ground up.
As a Field Account Manager, you will support and grow Gant Footwear’s wholesale business within the North Germany. You are responsible for day-to-day account management, seasonal sell-in support, and delivering strong in-season execution together with the Senior Field Account Manager.
This role is commercial, relationship-driven, and operationally hands-on. You will be the daily point of contact for selected wholesale accounts, ensuring a premium customer experience and accurate execution of our sales plans. You will work closely with the Senior Field Account Manager in North Germany, who will lead the strategic direction, negotiations, and largest accounts, as well as cooperate closely with the sales representative in the Southern Germany region.
Account Ownership & Execution
- Manage day-to-day sales topics for assigned wholesale accounts (typically small to mid-size partners).
- Act as the first point of contact for customers regarding orders, claims, returns, product questions, and showroom bookings.
- Assess and new opportunities together with the Senior field sales
- Support the Senior Field Account Manager by preparing materials, data, and account insights ahead of seasonal meetings.
Seasonal Sell-In & Showroom Support
- Prepare and organize sell-in meetings together with the Senior Field Account Manager.
- Present collections to smaller accounts and support during larger showroom appointments.
- Ensure accurate assortment selection in Colect and maintain account information.
In-Season Management
- Monitor orderbook, deliveries, replenishment opportunities, and rate of sales.
- Track customer performance and flag risks or opportunities early.
- Support in resolving compliance issues (claims, returns, logistics topics).
Planning & Forecasting
- Provide input for demand planning, sales forecasts, and budget follow-ups.
- Track key KPIs such as net sales, margin, and sell-through for assigned accounts.
- Prepare weekly updates for the Wholesale Team.
Profil
- 4+ years of experience in field sales, account management or wholesale within fashion, footwear, sport or FMCG.
- Proven ability to manage smaller accounts and drive daily commercial execution.
- Strong relationship building, communication, and presentation skills.
- Structured, analytical, and comfortable working with sales KPIs, forecasts and order data.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative team player with a service-minded, hands-on approach.
- Fluent in German and English; proficient in MS Office 365 (experience with Colect or similar tools is a plus).
