The global Business Development Team Drug Delivery Systems is looking for a talented new team member as of 01\. October 2025.
Your Contribution
- New Customer Acquisition & Business Expansion: Identify potential customers in the Drug Delivery Systems sector, analyze their needs, and develop tailored solutions.
- Account Development: Strategically manage and grow existing customer relationships, identify cross-selling opportunities, and support development projects through to market launch.
- Market & Competitor Analysis: Monitor market trends and competitor activities, and derive actionable strategies for business development.
- Lead Generation & Pipeline Management: Initiate and manage lead generation campaigns and maintain a structured opportunity pipeline.
- Technical-Commercial Consulting: Act as an interface between customers, sales, and technical teams, contributing your technical expertise to customer projects.
- Representation & Networking: Represent SCHOTT Pharma at international trade fairs, conferences, and industry events, and build a strong network within the pharmaceutical sector.
Your Profile
- Academic Background: Degree in Engineering, Natural Sciences (e.g., Biotechnology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Physics), or Business Administration with a technical focus.
- Professional Experience: 3-5 years of experience in an international B2B environment, ideally in Technical Sales or Business Development - preferably in the pharmaceutical, MedTech, or primary packaging industry.
- Communication Skills: Confident demeanor, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to clearly communicate complex topics.
- Analytical Thinking & Goal Orientation: Structured working style, entrepreneurial mindset, and the ability to stay focused in dynamic environments.
- Languages & Mobility: Fluent in German and English; willingness to travel up to 40% internationally.
- International Collaboration Skills: Proven ability to work effectively across multicultural teams.
