Position Description
Drive global transformation at QIAGEN.
In this strategic role, you lead cross-functional programs that shape the future of our global operations. You’ll work at the intersection of innovation, efficiency, and excellence-bringing meaningful impact to our diagnostics and life sciences business worldwide.
Your Responsibilities

• Lead global cross-functional projects focused on operational excellence, transformation, and performance improvement
• Drive initiatives from planning through execution - ensuring timeline, scope, and quality targets are met
• Support strategic decision-making through program insights, reporting, and stakeholder engagement
• Guide industrialization and product transfer projects in collaboration with global teams
• Implement continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and best practices
• Provide executive-level updates and help shape our operations strategy across regions

Position Requirements

• A degree in Life Sciences and several years of experience in a dynamic industry -ideally Biotech or Diagnostics; MBA or PhD is a plus
• Proven track record in managing large-scale international programs, including due diligence and post-merger integrations
• Experience across functions such as R&D, Manufacturing, Product Management, or M&A in the IVD or Life Sciences sectors
• Strong leadership through influence and excellent communication across cultures and hierarchy levels, up to C-level
• Fluent English skills, written and spoken; German or other languages are a bonus, not a requirement
