Application Engineer (m/f/d)

Are you passionate about combustion engines and ready to make a real impact with OEMs and Tier 1 customers? We’re looking for a technically strong, results-driven Application Engineer who takes ownership, drives projects forward, and turns technical challenges into customer success.

Your Responsibilities

• Act as the key technical interface for OEM and Tier 1 customers in valve seat inserts, valve guides, and related engine components
• Identify the right materials and engineering solutions based on tribological, thermal, and performance requirements
• Drive application projects from inquiry to customer approval
• Lead testing and validation activities, analyze results, and present clear technical recommendations
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and Testing
• Monitor market and benchmarking trends to continuously improve our product portfolio

Your Profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Automotive, Manufacturing Engineering or similar
• 5+ years of experience in automotive application engineering, technical customer support, or engine-related project work
• Strong knowledge of combustion engines, valve train systems, and tribology
• Experience with automotive customer approval processes
• Confident communicator in English, comfortable with presentations and customer meetings
• Structured, proactive, independent - and willing to travel
